The Master Line Source, the absolute flagship of the PIEGA loudspeakers, was produced over several years of development. It operates on the line source principle, which is considered by audio experts as the ideal transducer. All frequencies are radiated as coherent cylindrical sound waves. Thanks to the enormous membrane area of the line source loudspeaker, its sound producing area is considerably greater than with conventional loudspeakers and exhibits only extremely low distortion.
24 LINE SOURCE RIBBON TWEETERS
Of the 24 ribbon tweeters of the MLS, 12 radiate to the front and the other 12 located on the back radiate to the rear.
9 MIDRANGE RIBBONS
The nine dipole midrange ribbons radiating to the front and rear provide a uniquely delicate sound reproduction of all instruments and voices.
EXQUISITE DESIGN
Both elements of the Master Line Source come with a polished aluminium cabinet. Other designs are available on request.
SEPARATE BASS TOWER
Subwoofers of the special kind: six 22 cm subwoofers guarantee voluminous bass reproduction down to a frequency of 18 hertz.
NOT FOR EVERY DAY
With a weight of 420 kg and a height of 175 cm, the MLS requires a suitable large listening area.
MASTER LINE SOURCE
In several years of development, the absolute flagship among PIEGA loudspeakers, the Master Line Source, was created. It works on the line source principle, which acousticians consider to be the ideal sound transducer. All frequencies are emitted as a coherent cylinder sound wave. Thanks to the huge membrane area, the Line Source, whose sound-generating area is significantly larger than that of conventional loudspeakers, also has extremely low distortion.
24 LINE SOURCE RIBBON TWEETER
Of the 24 ribbon tweeters of the MLS, 12 radiate to the front, the other 12 are located on the rear and radiate to the rear.
9 RIBBON MIDRANGE DRIVERS
The nine dipolar midrange speakers radiating to the front and back ensure a unique fine drawing of all instruments and voices.
NOBLE DESIGN
Both elements of the Master Line Source have housings made of polished aluminum. Further versions on request.

A special kind of subwoofer: six 22 cm woofers guarantee voluminous bass reproduction down to 18 Hertz.

With its weight of 420 kg and a height of 175 cm, the MLS requires a correspondingly large listening room.
HIGHEST PRECISION
The entire baffle of the mid-high frequency panel is milled from a solid block of aluminum and has impressive stability and damping. The aluminum block consists of a special alloy
with the greatest strength and internal damping and is additionally
annealed in a stress-free process in an hour-long process. The entire machining work for the baffles alone takes several hours, but this is the only way to guarantee the required precision.
MINUTE HANDMADE
The Master Line Source can only be meticulously handcrafted by one person, a long-standing member of the PIEGA crew. As a result, a waiting time – which is unusual for PIEGA – until the delivery of this sound giant cannot be ruled out. Without haste, but with a lot of calm, precision and great appreciation for the product,
the Master Line Source is produced at the company headquarters. A masterpiece of loudspeaker construction, made by a master hand for perfect listening pleasure.
